about

Described as ‘truly genius’ by Wonderland Magazine with his debut EP ‘The Night’ released September last year, King Dinosaur returns with the follow up ‘How To Feel’ released 10th February via Artillery.

Despite his pre-historic themed moniker, Brighton-based King Dinosaur is very much a modern day artist proven on ‘How To Feel’; an EP as innovative as it is addictive.

The title track pulls you this way and that with its pitched percussion and slow attack synths, but there is an underlying pop sensibility to be found nestled in King Dinosaur’s melodic vocals that lie at the fore.

‘Against All Odds’ leans toward the club, taking the best elements of two step and UK Bass and topping them off with some fantastic vocal work, this time from Arp Attack’s Frankie Knight. ‘Broken Steps ‘rounds off the EP with an atmospheric dubstep vibe taking centre stage, nodding ahead to King Dinosaur 2.0

By singing, writing and producing his own tracks, writing the treatment for his debut stop-motion shadow puppet video, and in the midst of developing his unique live show, one thing is for certain; King Dinosaur has the talent to survive in an age where his contemporaries have long since been extinct.
